Papa sketches Eisley, Eisley sketches Papa

My parents watched the Pies last night so Justin and I could go out to dinner and a movie for our anniversary. We had a lovely time, thanks for asking. But that's not the reason for this post. I just wanted to show you a couple sketches...

While we were gone Papa and Eisley got into the crayons.

Eisley drew her Papa Erickson, see how she captured his mustache and glasses?

She did a good job, I'm truly impressed by how Eisley has captured his likeness.

My dad, on the other hand, seemed to struggle at capturing Eisley's likeness on paper...

As you can see.

When Grandma and Papa Erickson said, "Look Eisley! Papa sketched you!" Eisley glowered at them and said, "No. God made me."

Then she went on to say it looked like Grandma and added her own touch to perfect the portrait: wrinkles on the forehead and circles on the cheek.

Yep. Definitely looks like Grandma.

We're still laughing.
